It's an interesting take on the subject, though I'm not 100 % conviced that lean is only for the conveyor belt (yes, that's a pretty free interpretation of the article).

One thing really stand out to me though which actually might be a big problem in agile adoption:

"God help us. People found ways to have slack in waterfall, to rest and be creative. With Lean and Kanban, those hiding places are removed. We now have a progressive death march without pause."

Like we talked briefly about yesterday, some people are just working towards the next paycheck. This is why a change of mind is more important than the tools used imho.
