Post #: 297 Can't wait till the middle of July when they return! Anyone planning to go visit them?

Question, the fish at 1:55, is it a California Pike swimming upstream to try and feed on dead salmon or salmon eggs (the water is way to deep for them to lay eggs where we dive)?

Went to check out the river yesterday. There are lots salmon jumping all the way down to the table mountain bridge! More than I've saw in a long time! Problem right now, from what it looks like, there is way to much current for most, to swim against, flowing from the fish barrier dam. Water levels are up one to two feet in the river. In my younger years, and before my back got messed up ... I'd dive it. With the current, vis looks great. When they slow it down to where it's dive-able for most recreational divers, I'm sure the algae will decrease the visibility. It always does.
