Since certifying in Dec 2009, I have 479 logged dives (as of May 15, 2015): California - 141; Mexico - 214; Thailand - 79; Palau - 27; Bali - 10; Hawaii - 8.
~100 dives a year.
A member, Paul K., recommended it when I was newly certified as a way to meet dive buddies.
Trips to warm water destinations, get-togethers to discuss same, local social events and causes.
I certified here in San Diego, PADI: Open Water; Advanced Open Water; Nitrox Diver; Deep Diver; Wreck Diver; Equipment Specialist; O2 Provider; Peak Performance Buoyancy. I have TDI Full Cave certification (Yucatan). My last ~70 dives have been in sidemount configuration and I won't be going back to backmount anytime soon. Emergency First Response: CPR/AED/First Aid.
I'm interested in Power Scuba get-togethers, trips to warm water destinations, and occasional California diving.
Great group of fun divers, in it for the sport. Lots of positive energy. If you want to dive in San Diego, Bill Powers has put it all together.
