How many dives under your belt?

Around 300 and rising fast. I began diving in 2009 and most of my dive experience is in and around California.

How often do you dive?

As often as possible...which isn't often enough.

How, specifically, did you find out about this group? (If you found us via another web site, please name it.)

There I was standing on the beach one day in London town when I threw a message in a bottle into the water. Lo and behold, Bill Powers found it on the Yukon and got in touch. Now what were the chances of that?

What features and events are you looking for in a dive group?

Deep and meaningful discussions about the juxtapositioning of post-modernism and existential angst. Then again, opportunities to get wet and sweaty in a rubber suit just might suffice.

What is your certification level and where did you get certified?

PADI Master Diver and Nitrox. Certified in San Diego.

Introduction

I am a Brit who occasionally masquerades as a visiting professor at UCSD where I teach International Politics. My day job is Director of Education at the University of Birmingham in the UK.
