Interior design via AR:
Vuzix 920AR - supposedly $800, 3D capable, etc.
Oh, and there are new details, though sparse, on the NTT DoCoMo AR
Walker that I mailed about earlier. It is from Olympus in
collaboration with NTT DoCoMo. 91 grams. It does have both a
magnetometer and an accelerometer. There are three styles of
prototype, and commercialization is being "discussed." I'd left out
from my previous message that the CEATEC demo runs on a Windows Mobile
6.5 handset. With no camera on the viewer, I'm not sure how functional
this would be.
I'm worried that I'm over-using the mailing list, so I'm going to try
and roll stuff like this up into a once-a-week message from now on.
