This Meetup Group is about men and women who have a passion for travel and love having a good time! We all know people who have a desire for travel and for whatever reason friends and family are not available to travel with them. The cure is to join "Sea The World" and have fun traveling with a group of like-minded, mature adults. NEW TRIPS ARE ADDED PERIODICALLY. 
Sometime the trips will have members from more than one area attending its trips, we do have members outside of the DMV.
So far the group has traveled to the Dominican Republic, Las Vegas, cruised the Mediterranean, gone on a Rome and Paris Trip, did San Francisco and the Wine Country and Jamaica. We have events throughout the year to get acquainted and to discuss our upcoming travel. Our trips are considered group travel but it is not our intention to dominate each other's entire time throughout the trip - we respect the distance important to some people when traveling but do get together for group events.
Upcoming trips include: Another trip that covers Rome & Paris, a Greece Trip in September of 2011 which includes a 5 day cruise, a trip to Miami and Key West, FL and a cruise on Carnival's new ship The Dream.

[b]THE TRIPS FOR THIS GROUP ARE USUALLY NOT ESCORTED (UNLESS THE PACKAGE OFFERED BY THE TOUR PROVIDER[/b] IS [b]ESCORTED) NOR ARE THEY CHAPERONED[/b]. This group is a vehicle for people who like to travel not to have to do it alone. The organizer does not attend all trips even though her RSVP may read "yes", the RSVP count is to keep track of others who are attending the trip and not in this particular group but another meetup group. There will be pre-trip Meetups so members can get together and plan the details of the trip prior to leaving for the trip.
It is very important that you read and understand all the trip details before obligating to the trip.
