Try building a toy language

Somewhere, on the Internet, there's a challenge to build a new (toy) language each month, each time around an interesting language concept. We figured, maybe we'd give it a shot and group-program it, maybe break into teams. We'll make it up as we go along, as usual.

Are you guys still there? It's getting late, but in on my way to downtown Redmond and I would like to meet the group since my interests are right up your alley. Not to mention I'm hungry!

Sorry guys. I was really looking forward to this tonight, but allergies are kicking my butt. I just took an extra double plus size of allergy meds which make me kind of lightheaded, so I would probably be too "creative" for any kind of serious you language creation anyway.

Hry, I'm here. Don't make me look for the Ballmer peak alone.

It looks like I won't be able to make it this time either. If someone else wants to run the toy-language challenge, that would be very helpful.

I'm not able to make it this week. Have fun without me!

This is the site I was thinking of: . It looks like it's defunct now, but we can either pull one of the old challenges or make up our own challenge with it as an inspiration.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
