Macro Roundtable Workshop

Here's the deal.... everybody who attends will be responsible for setting up a macro shot on a table (provided).  It can be anything.  You will provide the subject and the (if possible) lighting. The more unique and interesting, the better!  Be creative!

Everybody will have 5-10 minutes to photograph at each station.  We'll go around the room until we run out of time.  We have the room from 7pm - 9pm.

Date(s): Monday, January 30, 2012
Time: 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Room: Large Meeting Room
Library: Mercer Island Library

This is sure to be popular so PLEASE do not RSVP unless you can attend.

As it turned out, my lens was doing exactly what it was supposed to be doing. It calculates the true aperture as the billow extends and contracts internally. Funny that a room of 12 macro shooters, myself included, didn't know that!

Hi everyone - please bring a polarizer! If I can find all the pieces I'll bring a setup that requires it. (The cross polarization technique you usually see done with clear plastic forks and such.)

Also - if you have interesting clear acrylic bits and baubles feel free to bring them. 6" or less in each dimension.
