Hobby to Business Workshop

Nicki Callahan Photography presents:

The Hobby to Business Workshop

Join me and learn how to turn your passion into a business.

During this packed 3 hours we will discuss:

Obtaining a creative logo for under $100

Finding a web-site suited for photography that you can design without using an expensive designer

Blogs, proofing sites, printers, the how to's of social media, marketing & branding - doing it right the first time, how to find your ideal clients, how to foster repeat business, pricing your time and your products, how to sell without a studio, UBI numbers and tax issues specific to photographers, insurance, contracts and policies.

You will leave this 3 hour workshop with insider tips that will save you time and TONS o'money and give you the push that you need to start your own business. You will also leave with a CD of documents (in Word format) that I use, templates to start you off with your marketing and lots of links to help you define your style and niche.

Fantastic learning experience, it is amazing the information and resources Nicki was able to assemble in just four years. The best part for me was the numerous clever marketing techniques she shared.

I signed up for this workshop while traveling and have no clue whether I paid the the fee. If I haven't then I will change my RSVP. I was released from the hospital a couple of days ago and not really up to it.

Ok, I have taken myself off this one, to remain on SPC event list, to avoid further confusion. See you on Saturday!

http://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Photography-Club/events/68912622/ This is where I registered and paid already. It was just that the reminder came up for the above, hence my 'rsvp' request

    Hi Heather,
Thanks for asking about this. Where the rubber meets the road is if you have submitted the $79 payment on Nicki's website you will have a spot reserved. Both SPG and SPC are primarily facilitators to provide information and help you find your way to register on Nicki's site. Signing up on both sites is not necessary, and is one of the downsides of cross-posted events.

I'm confused, as this is listed twice, on the SPC website, and on here. As I have rsvp'd on the SPC one, does that mean I should take my name off this one so I am not doubled up. I see 17 listed as going, with two hosts.
