I am eager for new experiences, new places and situations to discover and photograph, to learn from watching and engaging with others, and to meet others who love photography and to view their work.
I have had a deep love for photographic images since I was a child, and often wielded my little Kodak Instamatic. As an adult, photography has come to mean a lot to me in the last few years, especially. It is a great solace and fascination for me, a spiritual experience, and helps me to explore and engage in the world around me, especially with nature.
I love shooting outdoors - engaging with the natural world, through photography, is a spiritual experience for me. It gives me hope. It makes me feel connected to all Life. Nature is endlessly intricate, innovative, and creative, and we are all a part of that. I also like old cemeteries and old stone, places where nature and man-made materials meet. I am not really a people photographer, and I need to get over that avoidance. It seems like more of a collaboration to me, between people, and is something I would like to learn more about, but my first love is the outdoors.
Hi! I love photography, especially nature photography, and the places or moments where nature and man-made materials meet. I'm eager for new experiences and places to photograph, to hone my perceptions, and learn to see in new ways.
