Digital Storytelling Workshop

We are supporting TechSoup’s annual Digital Storytelling Challenge (TSDigs) this April, by making this Meetup a hands-on workshop to help you tell better stories and advance your organizations’ goals. We’ll be talking best practices, must-reads and emerging technologies to get the job done, so come ready to work!

Brad Wilke, Executive Director of Flash Volunteer, and Scott Macklin, Associate Director of Masters of Communication in Digital Media program at the University of Washington, have graciously agreed to lead our session!

Storytelling is a must these days for differentiating your mission and drawing people into why your cause matters so much so they are more willing to donate, get involved, advocate for your cause and volunteer for your organization. Come to this event and learn from the PROS! RSVP today! (seating is limited)

FREE BEER donated by North Coast Brewing Co. and snacks will be available.

Event location is 3131 Western Ave, Suite 303 Seattle WA 98121.
From Western go to the North side of the building - entry is at the bottom of the first flight of stairs. The door is labelled "Commons".

    I found the information VERY appropriate for the work I am doing with 3 non-profits. I look forward to a link to the presentation to keep the info for on-going reference.
    One minor nit - start on time.
    Thanks for sponsoring the event;

    I'm a television, documentary and major event producer who works with numerous nonprofits. Sure wish I could attend but am teaching Digital Storytelling and Message Design the same evening at Trinity Lutheran College in Everett.

    Thanks for coordinating this. Looking forward to it. Just posted and emailed the info out to a bunch of great Seattle NPO folks. Let's pack the house!

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
