Give & Take: Seed Swap (To Be Rescheduled)

Hi folks. It looks like the weather may be daunting for this meetup. I don't want anyone to put themselves at risk by driving on slick roads to get to this seeds swap. I will reschedule this meetup soon so stay tuned for an updated day and time. Laura Williford

Let's share our dreams and plans for the coming growing season in the form of seeds! Do you have more of something than you need? Are you interested in learning about new and unusual varieties and trying them out? This is a great opportunity for you to do both. Bring your over-large packets that you purchased, and seeds you saved from your own gardens and let's spread the wealth.

We are trying to invigorate our swap meetups - now called Give & Take Meetups - and are starting with this seed swap (look for a plant swap coming in May).

The event is free and open to all. Please be on time so you won't miss the introductions when everyone gets to tell what they have brought.

You can also bring items other than seeds - especially home/homestead made treasures like your own canned goods, eggs, honey, wool, etc.

Hi Folks: Amy rescheduled this meetup for 3/10 but doing so meant dropping everyone that had RSVPed. So, please go to the new meetup posting - http://www.meetup.com/GreaterSeacoastPermaculture/events/106214402/#event-comments-section - and RSVP there if you can make this meetup. This time, if the weather is snowy again, I'll still be there because I will attend church and coffee hour earlier that day.

If anyone in this group would be interested in lending a hand to the Dover Community Garden this year, your help would be GRATEFULLY appreciated. If you get to the Farmer's Market this weekend in Rollinsford, we will have a table w/info. Thanks!!!

Cheri, please post this request in the discussion section of GSPG's Meetup board. People might miss your request here thinking these comments are only about the seed swap. If there is not an appropriate title to post your request under in the discussion section, please create an eye catching new title and more explanation there.

Thanks, Laura. Will check in for a future date. Perhaps we can all start a discussion on what we have to offer, and what we are looking for?

Will this go on regardless of the weather or will we wait and see how the storm transpires? I'm hoping they're wrong and we don't get anything!!

okay, thanks, I'm looking forward to it, whenever it happens. I'm coming from Groveland, MA which is around 40 min. so that's why I was asking.

Good thing you asked. That is a long way to drive, and ever so much longer in bad weather.

Would it be ok if I came but had to leave early? I have to be at work by 2pm in Greenland. Trying to see if I can go in late, but I really want to come to the event.
