How did you learn about the concept of permaculture?

I've picked it up here and there. y parents were hippies and my maternal grandparents owned a "gentleman's farm" of 7acres during the Depression where they grew enough to sustain two adults and three kids plus trading with several neighbors and they taught me if it can't be eaten or used for a task it doesn't belong on the farm.

How did you find out about this group?

I met Mary at a Seacoast United Way event where we built rain gardens.

What do you hope to learn from this group?

I hope to expand my knowledge and skills in both growing plants, designing the space they are grown in and using what I've grown.

Do you have skills you would like to share/teach here?

I am married with two dogs and cannot stop gardening no matter the space given me. Edible and perennial are my mainstays, and I work on preserving what I grow however I can.
