How did you learn about Seacoast NH French Language Meetup Group?

An acquaintance told me about the Meetup website and I decided to check it out.

If you could visit any ville francophone this year, where would it be?

We took a trip to France in April/May of 2007 and spent time in Normandy, Paris, Provence, Nice, Charente, etc. The highlight was the time spent in Hanc, Melleran and Chef-Boutonne, where my ancestors lived in the 1600's. The best B&B was in Vertuil.

How did you learn to speak French? If you are not a locuteur natif, were you inspired by an experience or a person?

My grandparents emigrated from Quebec and they spoke Canadian French in the home. I was raised in a small NH mill town and all of my friends spoke Canadian French. Unfortunately, for the next 40+ years, I spoke English exclusively and now regret it.

Bonjour, Pam. Je suis en retraite et maintenant, j'ai le temps pour developer mon français. J'aimerais de vous joindre le 14 novembre pour rencontrez votre groupe.
