Monthly Challenge:
Our challenge for this month's meeting is Light. Between now and the meeting, take up to three photographs which somehow speak to your interpretation of the subject - please feel free to take great liberty with your interpretation of the subject.
Don't be shy, we have a very encouraging group of critics and we'll all learn something from the experience. Most of all, have fun shooting!
SPECIAL this Month - Equipment Swap:
Got a lens you don't use and want to sell or swap? Don't know what to do with those studio lights you bought with good intentions but never used? Bring it to the December Monthly Meeting a half hour early (at 6PM) so everyone can gander on their way in. At the end of the meeting, we'll hold a sale-or-swap so those underloved items can go to a good, caring home.
Brown Bag Bingo Starts this Month:
This will also be the month we begin our third annual Brown Bag Bingo challenge. If you're interested in participating, come to the meeting and get your Brown Bag, which is white, but never mind that.
More info on how BBB works is included in our Brown Bag Bingo Discussion Board.
Instructions for Uploading Photos:

Location:
We meet at the beautiful Town Hall Gallery building, directly across from the bandstand and Town Hall Offices. Park on the street or in the nearby municipal lot and walk on over - you may enter at the front or left side of the building.
Other:
Bring other photos if you'd like feedback or critique, and be prepared to [helpfully] critique others'.
Anything photography- or photographer-related is fair game.
Great! Stuff swap tonite, bargains! - I wrestled another photog for John's retired 50mm macro lens. He was gracious, I won. (not to worry, he got other bargains...)

Drat! Is there a way to make a bag to participate in the fun?
I had an unexpected medical appointment and couldn't get there in time.
I'm new, so I don't know the rules!

Always a pleasure to share and be among this crowd of wonderful people. And the quality of submissions for the Monthly Challenge was extremely high tonight.

Great content as usual. The slideshow of the monthly challenge shows us there is vast knowledge in the group to learn from.

John, are we supposed to photograph our BBB item and bring it to the meeting this month to place in the bags or are we just picking up our bags to photograph and add our items to next month?
