Introduction
Learned photography in High School with 35mm yearbook activities, then put it away during and after college. The introduction of the Canon D30 in 2000 got me inspired again and have shot many thousands of images since with a D30, D60, 1DM2 and 7D.
What type of photography interests you?
Mostly family, people and landscapes at this point, but in the past I've shot weddings, formal family portrait shoots and a product shoot. I just broke out my White Lightning portable studio lights from storage which have been gathering dust and am trying to remind myself how to use the equipment effectively.
What is one photography-related goal you hope this group will meet?
I'm primarily looking to get re-inspired to shoot more. There are only so many kids basketball games one can shoot over the winter before boredom sets in. Would like to find opportunities to shoot local landscapes or cityscapes in southern NH, and compare notes with fellow photographers. Primary goal is to find opportunities to get out and shoot!
