CAMC_DSC[masked]_HDRDescription: Ever wonder how to produce High Dynamic Range (HDR) imagery but not sure where to start or dissatisfied with your results?  Come and join Sean to learn how to create unique scenes that fit into this incredible new form of digital exposure.  He will teach you how to capture and process images illustrating a full range of tones using your DSLR and laptop (or one of our workstations).

We will start with a shooting session around our location from 10:30am to 12:30pm, break for lunch, and return to process our images from 1:30pm to 4:30pm.  Sean will also run an interactive lecture during this period to help in the post-capture work (using Photoshop and HDR Efex Pro 2 - both available on our workstations), offering numerous tips and techniques as well as a step-by-step process to perfect your HDR creations.

From Sean's vast knowledge and experience, to his inspiring work and power-packed presentations, you will come away inspired and with new tools to improve your skills and stretch your photographic imagination.  This class is appropriate for digital photographers, best for intermediate and advanced students, but all levels are welcome.  What to Bring:  Laptop (optional), Camera equipment (DLSR and tripod a must), extra memory card and card reader (optional), and fully charged batteries.

About Sean: As a full-time commercial photographer for over 20 years, Sean captures everything from adventure to wildlife, landscapes to people, travel to studio work and brings enthusiasm, 30 years of experience, powerful presentations, and high quality work to educate, entertain, and inspire.  Besides bringing a wealth of photographic knowledge and experience, Sean has a passion for turning what he sees in front of him into a powerful photograph that connects with others. His second book, The Complete Guide to Nature Photography, published by Random House in December 2011 is a testament of Sean's passion.  He brings his unique perspective on each topic with a touch of real world scenarios, as well as a philosophical angle to tap into his thought process and your unique view of the natural world.  In over 14 years of teaching photography in the field and online, Sean has the knack for helping students rise to another level with their work.

Looking forward to this weekend's workshop at Future Light (inside Calumet Photographic store in San Francisco). We had a toasty classroom last time, but we'll have a cooler one this weekend (an added A/C unit with the main one we have, a couple of fans, and a cooler 75 degree day). We'll also head out for an hour and a half or so to capture some HDR shots, then process them during our afternoon session.

We have a nice group of folks so far, but still room for more. Hope you can join us!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
