PHOTO WORKSHOP: Producing Realistic High Dynamic Range (HDR) Imagery - with master photographer and author Sean Arbabi
Date: Saturday, July 20th, 2013 • 10:30am - 4:30pm
Location: Future Light Digital Workshops (in Calumet Photographics), 2001 Bryant St, San Francisco, CA 94110, [masked]
Description: Ever wonder how to produce High Dynamic Range (HDR) imagery but not sure where to start or dissatisfied with your results? Come and join Sean to learn how to create unique scenes that fit into this incredible new form of digital exposure. He will teach you how to capture and process images illustrating a full range of tones using your DSLR and laptop (or one of our workstations).
We will start with a shooting session around our location from 10:30am to 12:30pm, break for lunch, and return to process our images from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. Sean will also run an interactive lecture during this period to help in the post-capture work (using Photoshop and HDR Efex Pro 2 - both available on our workstations), offering numerous tips and techniques as well as a step-by-step process to perfect your HDR creations.
From Sean's vast knowledge and experience, to his inspiring work and power-packed presentations, you will come away inspired and with new tools to improve your skills and stretch your photographic imagination. This class is appropriate for digital photographers, best for intermediate and advanced students, but all levels are welcome. What to Bring: Laptop (optional), Camera equipment (DLSR and tripod a must), extra memory card and card reader (optional), and fully charged batteries.
