Hello - who wants to go tubing? I'm still trying to get my snow fixes in before it's too late! The Summit at Snoqualmie offers tubing passes in 2 hours session blocks. I'm thinking the 11:15 block will be perfect for a Sunday afternoon. Give us enough time sleep in a little, meet at a park and ride, carpool and head out. The summit is just about an hour away from Seattle.
For those that haven't gone before - wear snow pants, warm jacket, layers. You'll need waterproof boots. All you rent is your tube. You can purchase tickets in advance by clicking on the link below - It's $22 for the two hours.
I'll buy my ticket once I see at least 4 people sign up. It's definitely a good time! It can be a little workout if you walk up the hill to tube down again, or there is a little "lift" that carries you up. It all depends how much you want to cruise down!
When we are done, we can head to the main Snoqualmie lodge and grab a beer. It's a blast, so I hope you'll join me!
Driving directions - Exit 53 off I-90, located at the Summit Central.
