'Tis the season for parties, festivities and charitable giving. Habitat Young Professionals invites you celebrate the end of an incredible year of growth, while spreading the love to our community partners who have a greater need than we do this holiday season. Our 'Pub Crawl for a Cause' will be benefiting YouthCare and the Federal Way Food Bank (see below for more info about this orgs). Donations will be accepted (and highly encouraged) throughout the crawl.

HYP is a volunteer-based organization affiliated with Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King County. We pride ourselves on creating safe, fun and meaningful experiences for our volunteers, potential volunteers and supporters alike.
More about the sponsored organizations:
YouthCare serves homeless youth 12-24yrs to get them off the streets and prepared for life in an effort to break the cycle of homelessness. YouthCare and Habitat have partnered to develop the YouthBuild program, teaching the teenage residents valuable vocational skills and giving them the tools to be self-sufficient when they leave the shelter. This season, they urgently need sleeping bags, blankets, hand warmers and socks. Coats, gloves and warm hats are great, too.
Federal Way Food Bank and Multi-Service Center serves families in the Federal Way area where we've been focusing our monthly building efforts since 2011. We are sponsoring a holiday food drive to help feed the families in the area (some of which may be Habitat families).
**Please note that we are a volunteer group of young professionals interested in doing good for the community and helping others. Be smart, be safe, be respectful (and please drink responsibly!)
