There are several places where Washington Browncoats congregate - Look for information on upcoming events on this Meetup site and in the Big Damn Seattle Shindigs Thread on the official Serenity website, as well as at Seattle Browncoats Yahoo site.

The Wayward Coffeehouse in the Greenwood neighborhood of Seattle is our Browncoat Haven. Many a shiny shindig happens there such as the First Friday Sci-fi Movie Night, the annual Sereniversary with filk performers - Vixy & Tony (Michelle Dockrey & Tony Fabri); celebration and wrap party to "Serenity Forever" - the yearly charity event that benefits Equality Now; many raucous games of dominoes on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month and the Wayward Filk Fest!


The Seattle Browncoats have organized and contributed to the successful "Serenity Now/Equality Now" 2006 and "Can't Stop the Serenity/Equality Now" 2007 & 2008 charity events with another movie event planned for July 2009! Watch for information on Can't Stop the Serenity on the Meetup site.
