Seattle's Can't Stop the Serenity! July 13th at Central Cinema!

Seattle, WA
Post #: 1,276
Seattle CSTS @ the Central Cinema on July 13th, 2013 for TWO screenings!
Location: Central Cinema - 1411 21st Ave, Seattle, WA

Seattle Browncoats Charities is proud to present the 8th annual "Can't Stop the Serenity" charity fundraiser, tickets on sale now at (NOTE: You are responsible for buying your own tickets. RSVP'ing to Meetup does NOT guarantee a ticket)

Join us on Saturday, July 13th at Central Cinema for TWO very special screenings of "Serenity" (2005):
...2:00 pm matinee - a "family-friendlier" event featuring a dazzling pre-movie spinning display by Firebird's Children, followed by the movie, and a costume contest & raffle concluding the matinee; $15 (+ fees) presale / $18 at the door

...7:00 pm evening show - our "Special Hell" version featuring comedic pre-movie entertainment from NERDprov, followed by the movie with texting-to-screen Hecklevision available to all cell phones present (texting charges may apply), and a costume contest & raffle concluding the evening show; $17 (+ fees) presale / $20 at the door

Kids are welcome at either showing. We trust parents to use discretion and judgment as to what your children can/can't handle. Remember the movie is rated PG-13, and know that Hecklevision is NOT filtered or aster*sked. You've been warned! confused
A full menu and bar is available at the dinner-theater Central Cinema, so bring your appetite! Each showing will conclude with a raffle and costume contest, so dress up in your best Firefly-inspired costume! We will also be offering our usual wares in the lobby if you need another cunning hat or spare set of pint glasses. Seating is limited, so buy your tickets before they sell out!

Remember all proceeds from CSTS 2013 will support Equality Now, Northwest Harvest, and Seattle Browncoats Charities (for the next awesome event)!
