Scarred South LFR

There is much to discuss, but for now, I'm posting this to make sure people hear about it with more time to spare.

Sorry about the wait, but I'm still testing the water for this:

OK, looks like Dylan is out and Gary is back in. Thanks for the heads-up, Josh.

In other news, the adware on my computer has gotten to the point where I can't even access the creatures I've built. I may end up running a published adventure, like more Elturgard stuff.

Hello Archlords, I was planning on playing a rogue. Do we have clarity on the character levels yet?

On another important note, I was inspired by last week to think up one more adventure in the low-level range. However, as I only developed this one recently, it would help even more than usual if you'd check out the introductory text beforehand and think and discuss about how you want to approach it.

A'right, how's about this: Since you can't trust Lady Silverblade, you'll have to watch her pretty closely as she goes back to get the information. One option is to follow her in secret, which would require more Nature, Perception, and Stealth. Alternatively, you can just keep her in custody openly, then try to exchange her for the information, which would rely more on social skills like Bluff, Diplomacy, and Intimidate. It depends on what you think has a better chance, particularly considering your capabilities. I suspect you may have a warden, two avengers, and an invoker, for starters.

Sorry, Gary, it looks like you're going to have to step out. Unless you see someone else volunteer to DM a second table before Thursday, you should probably not make the trip. We will try to see about a more permanent solution, but I will give you priority if this happens again next time, regardless of the order in which people sign up.

Hi Archlords and all, I checked the MYRE3-1 Light Side of the Moon synopsis and it looks cool, but I'm good with whatever game you feel like running. I have three LFR characters that I've played up form 1st: a 9th lvl Wizard, 3rd lvl Rogue, and a 3rd lvl Fighter, any of which I'd be happy to play. Looking forward to gaming with you!

I've made some good progress on that adventure today and shouldn't have any trouble getting up to my usual (low) standards by Thursday. Of course, we're not set up to include a 9th-level, but considering how little healing we seem to have, more damage to the enemy or less damage to the friend would certainly help 3rd- and 4th-level characters make it through a fight.

No worries, from the MYRE3-1 writeup I figured my 9th would be out of the running. Sounds like a good module for a rogue unless one of the continuing players is already running one.

So, we've got a couple of new faces. Josh, whom are you bringing? Rod didn't make it last week, and I don't see him here, but that may just be because he had to remove his RSVP from the previous session and thus wasn't notified about this one. If he can't make it, hopefully we'll be good with one table.

Sorry to be so late responding. Wife's schedule won't let me play. Just found out. Sorry.

First of all, Grady, sorry I didn't get a chance to check my email while I was at work last Thursday. Catching a ride with you guys from Kent Station should work great. The bus to that point is much more direct; I should get there sometime around 4:00.
