Dead in Thay

Dead in Thay is a direct sequel to the previous season of Encounters, Scourge of the Swordcoast.  The threat to Daggerford was stemmed but the discovery of Bloodgate Keep has revealed a broader, more dangerous threat to not only the Daggerford, region but the entire Swordcoast.

If left unchecked, Szass Tam will continue his efforts to achieved Godhood and flood the area with an invasion of undead.  Now, our heroes find themselves with unlikely allies; rebel Red Wizards who seek the overthrow of their lich ruler.  However, the dungeon under Thay is a vast complex and our heroes will need every bit of perseverance, resolve and a good measure of good fortune to succeed.

Pack your swords, your wands and your courage, because you'll need it all to survive Dead in Thay!

If I could give this Meetup more than 5 stars, I definitely would for last night. Our paladin (player absent for awhile due to work) was able to return and we had a new player who has been absent from D&D since 2nd edition. The other table was full of players and with new people showing up it looks like we have a 3rd table in the making! My group provided quite the entertainment; while fighting dragon turtles they had to open another door and cause a double fight with a naga and her entranced prisoners. Somehow the group triumphed and now find themselves in the Temples of Extraction. In fact, the other group is also in the same area. With only two more sessions to go this season looks to end on a bang!

Is there still spaces available at the table? I remember seeing a few weeks ago that this group was full. My Wednesday nights opened up and it would be nice to join you all. What are your rules for character creation and what level is the party at?

We should have at least one spaced open. We have pre-gen characters you can use and you can also make your own 6th level character using the 5th edition D&D rules available on Wizards website for free.

This sounds like the sort of game complete newbies should watch from the sidelines.
