Raygun Lounge Encounters: Tyranny of Dragons - Hoard of the Dragon Queen

The new 5th Edition D&D Encounter season begins. (We don't have free stuff yet.)

The Cult of the Dragon has been active in Faerûn for
centuries. It has focused on making undead dragons to
fulfill a prophecy most of that time, but that’s changing.

Now they want to release Tiamat, the queen of evil dragons, from her prison in the Nine Hells.

Will you rise up or bow down?

We will have three tables on 9/17.  DM's:  Tim, Cooper, and Niall

We've had a few no shows recently and a few walk ins at the Lounge.  Please keep your RSVP status up to date.

Second best part of the evening:
After the players interrogate the cultist.
Helen as Thia: We kill him.
Scot as Bharash: We can't kill him, I'm a Paladin of Bahamut! I'll convert him.
Scot spends his Inspiration and rolls a 20.
    Table: Yay!
Tim as DM: The cultist is so impressed by you that he'll go back to the town he just looted and help build the church of Bahamut.

Luckily you let the Bard play inspirational music so I didn't have to use my inspiration after all.

On that roll, my main die was a 1 and my advantage die was a 20.
