How did you find out about our group?

Scanning the MeetUp website.

Are you a dungeon master, a player, or both? Which do you like better?

I first rolled funny lookin' dice in 1980. I have played, multi-session, under about 15 or 20 DMs, some of them VERY good. I am a very experienced DM, having run a medium to high level campaign weekly, for seven years, in five to six hour sessions. I enjoy both campaigns, and "pick up" games. It is difficult for me to find a DM who can handle my highly involved and active style of play, so I am happy to DM for now. I watch DMs for a session or even two before I bother with rolling up a dude and joining the game. I am adamant about this because of my insistence on only attending adult games where the players do NOT battle each other for the DMs attention, and interruptions are held to a minimum. I play and DM old school, 2.0. I have a high level dungeon and two campaign world skeletons ready for playtesting. Old characters are fine by me, after passing through a vetting / negotiation process. I also Referee Traveller, and have all the books.

What is your favorite version of D&D (basic to 5th edition, Pathfinder, 13th Age, etc.)
