FREE Movie Screening: "21 AND OVER"

My Eastside Social Club received passes for a FREE screening and EARLY entry to "21 AND OVER" and I'd like to share some of our passes so you can join us. Note: I have a limited amount of Early Entry (vs. waiting hours in line) Passes set aside for this group - I will not know exactly how many until everyone checks in (you can thank the no-shows for that/making the process unpredictable). But hey, it's FREE! You might be able to join the "General" entry group, but if that doesn't work, have a Plan B in mind so you're not disappointed.

Please read the event details before posting questions (if I don't respond, your answer is probably in the details) and follow the points below.  Much appreciated! ~Claudette

Though the movie starts at 7pm, you MUST be there by 6pm to get checked off the list and get your pass.  If you're late, your ticket will be given to the next name on the list.  We generally enter around 6:30pm, but could be earlier or later.  Either way, please be patient and don't give anyone a hard time, especially the staff and PR people. They are the ones offering this opportunity and I'm volunteering to share it with you - let's keep a good thing going.

Space is limited and not guaranteed. Passes are 1st come 1st served based on when you RSVP (I'll be looking across all invited groups, not just this one) - AND note which group you signed up with, I will ask. However for the last few screenings everyone who signed and showed up got in (either with the early entry or general admission) and the theater wasn't completely full. There's no way to predict - just have to show up to see, but again, have a Plan B, just in case.

This event is for Members ONLY. If you note +1 (or the like), your RSVP will be removed so others don't follow suit.

Previous no-shows to any of my limited spaced events will be removed from the RSVP list (unless we've discussed it).  Courtesy counts!  BTW - If I remove your RSVP, do not just re-RSVP (and I'm not going to keep removing you) - see why it was removed. Hate to have you show and you're no longer on the list.

SYNOPSIS: Straight-A college student Jeff Chang has always done what’s expected of him. But when his two best friends Casey and Miller surprise him with a visit for his 21st birthday, he decides to do the unexpected for a change, even though his critical medical school interview is early the next morning. What was supposed to be one beer becomes one night of chaos, over indulgence and utter debauchery in this outrageous comedy.

FYI: A couple other select Meetup groups have been invited to this event so there will be more people attending than you see RSVPd here.  Please sign up for one group only. Any multiple RSVPs will be removed.

BONUS: Since we've been having problems with some people not reading the details, I'll give the 1st 5 people to email me stating they have read the details guaranteed early entry passes!  Hey, it's an experiment, let's see what happens.  :)  I'll announce the 5 when the limit's reached.  Will have extras though, as you already know since you've read what I've written already.  ;)

Also I will not be on-line the day of the event, so if you email me or post a question I won't be able to respond.

Thanks again everyone who made it out. It looks like everyone who came, got in - either in the early entry or the general admission (thanks to those who remembered to check - I spaced). I so needed the laugh and boy were there several - though sometimes crude, but hey... ;) I don't know which was better, the movie or hanging out at Palominos/The Parlor after. Such a great group of people - just love how it's like immediate friends. So looking forward to the next event!! :D

And totally cool that we had not one, but TWO actors from the movie - Raven and Jordan - in our group. And you could see them in their scenes, unlike just being able to see my arm/jacket sleeve next to Michael Michelle when I was in "The Sixth Man". LOL!

Looking forward to seeing this movie. We have a Meetup member "Jordan" who's in it and will be joining us. Just a couple of housekeeping items, which do in a couple of posts:

    1) I have 75 passes for 4 Meetups so I'll be juggling a lot of people your patience and cooperation would be greatly appreciated (especially if you want to be invited back/have the group invited to other free screenings). By now everyone should have read the full details. I know it's a lot of words (tried to streamline it, I really did - open to suggestions), but hey, there's a lot to cover to make sure people know what to expect and make things run smoothly. I want you to have a good time, but I also want to have a good time, too!! :)

      2) After the movie, if you want to hang out, socialize and talk about the movie a bit, let's meet in the lobby (before exiting the main theater doors). We can go to a late night happy hour like at Earl's, Palomino's and wherever the group wants to go. If I forget to mention this Tuesday, somebody please remind me as I juggle. Thx!

I'm closing the Bonus contest. 4 members are getting Guaranteed Early Entry Tickets: ANGELA, DON, JENNIFER, SHIRLEY. Thanks for reading the event details and following the 'contest' instructions. Please commit to your RSVP at least 24 hrs in advance, i.e. if you need to drop off, please do the day before. The courtesy would be greatly appreciated. Hope everyone else read the details as well.

Looks like people are "Freaking" out regarding attending this film! I'm still going for sure! Just mellow out, see the movie, and enjoy! Maybe we can meet and discuss after the film?

Rules are too complicated on this one. I'll join y-all next time when it's simply the group going to a movie together.

Sorry you don't appreciate my efforts and what I'm doing here, but they really aren't that complicated and bottom line you don't have to go. Believe you me, it's more work for me to do to make sure I don't have flakes wasting tickets than for you to do a few basic, common sense, courteous things get a free ticket (and there's been up to 75% no-show for these free screenings). Now I do have movies coming up where you can do what you want since you have to pay for your own ticket. But even then there still are steps, when and where to meet and you still have to read the event details to know what to expect, so not that much different.

Angela, you're the only one so far how 'gotten it' and will get a guaranteed early entry pass!! Hmmm. An interesting experiment indeed. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

Very interesting - I had a little 'hidden' challenge (Easter egg, if you will) in the event details and no one (going) has done it (correctly). Hmmm...

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
