What: The King's Speech ~ Encore and Special "Brunch" Screening in Seattle
When: Sunday, January 30, 2011 12:00 PM
Where: The Big Picture Seattle
2505 1st Ave
Seattle, WA 98134
In case you are like me and haven't seen this award winning film yet (or want to see it again) - Come join us at the Big Picture about noon (the movie is at 12:30pm) to socialize with other movie go-ers, hang out, have a drink and lounge for a bit in the cozy surroundings. This is a multi-meetup event - it's always a friendly and social crowd so don't be shy. Will try to sit in a different area this time, the conversation area in front of the screening room. Ask the ticket taker for the Meetup group or look for the signs.
Today is a special "Bagels and Bloodys" screening ~ Enjoy a delicious selection of bagels and cream cheese, your choice of either a Bloody Mary or Mimosa (can substitute for non-alcoholic drinks) and a special screening of “The King’s Speech”. Tickets are $15 per person. Tickets available online.
If you have not been to the Big Picture Seattle yet you are in for a treat. It's like being in a private screening room with comfy seats (for people 21+). Select your seat before the movie begins and you can have a beverage delivered to you during the movie - how decadent! They have a good selection of (non-)alcoholic drinks, as well as movie food. Through a set of unexpected techniques, and as a result of an unlikely friendship, Bertie is able to find his voice and boldly lead the country through war.
Tickets: Since this movie just won a bunch of awards and it's a special screening, I suggest getting your ticket early online to be sure you get one: http://www.thebigpict...
