Who is the king of traffic?

In our inaugural meetup, we are bringing you Seattle's traffic leaders to battle it out and prove who is the king of internet traffic!

Who can drive more traffic? Social (Facebook, Twitter, etc), Adwords (the evil villain), slippery and elusive SEO, SEM (what the hell is SEM anyways?), or that dastardly affiliate marketer?

Panelists:

PPC- Lisa Sanner, Director of PPC at Point It. A firm PPC firm managing $30 million in PPC advertising!

Seo- Josh Patrice - Director of SEO at Portent.

Social - Brooke Angles. Founder of Admosis  Media, she's best known for creating one of the most successful Facebook acquisition and engagement campaigns, garnering 1 million fans in 5 weeks.

Affiliate - Josh Todd - Has Offers and Inside Affiliate Inc, Josh is a long time affiliate marketer on both sides of the affiliate marketing, whether it's managing affiliates or generating six-figure commissions.

Location: On the 8th Floor of Surf Incubator

Door Prizes? Yes! We will be giving away 30 and 14 day trails to Lynda.com. Laptop bag from Pacsafe.

I don't think I can say this in less than 140 characters? And I have already wasted a bunch of characters justifying it. Lol. Entertaining. Definitely learned something. Memorable. Had a hard time understanding the jargon for those industry(s). I understood it for th most part. My suggestion is to speak to an audience that you are trying to sell you're services to that don't know anything about Internet marketing/sales strategies. Overall I thought it was done well. I might come to the next one. Good mix of presenters. I felt like they might know each other outside of the event. Thanks.

I had never met any of the other panelists prior to the event besides Michael (the host).

Me either. It was a blind matchup. :) Sorry about all the jargon and acronyms from me. PPC-speak has become my first language. I'll keep that in mind for future presentations, so thanks for the feedback.

Really a great meeting. So much expertise in one room. Michael is a skilled facilitator. So good of the panelists to give their time for the event. Special thanks to Josh Todd for the affiliate tip.

I just bought the PS mesh backpack-cover. I thought about a bag like this or one of their "safes" but nothing seemed to be really big enough for a 17" laptop.

I could use a hand that night if someone would like to arrive 30 minutes before hand that would be great. Please let me know if you can help!

I'd like to meet in a bar-type environment. Casual. I'm in Bellevue so would prefer Eastside or close-in Seattle.

Craig, I agree! I want plenty of networking time as well as a quality panel/speaker. And beer makes it all better.

I love beer but bars sometimes make it hard to hear others. How about the option of meeting up for beers after the Meetup?

I'm good with any location that has easy access and parking. I went to a WordPress Meetup at the HUB Seattle in Pioneer Square. I'm in Renton so I took light rail and the location was close by the Pioneer St. Station.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
