Mayan Prophecies-2013: Living in the Post Apocalypse

With so much talk and speculation about what would occur on Dec. 21st, 2012 many of us may have been left confused. Were the Mayans wrong or did we fail to comprehend the deep significance of what they were trying to tell us? Join us as we attempt to understand their message thru theory, practice and exercise.

Transcending the Event Horizon

Technology is advancing at a remarkable rate; an insignificant private instant can be viewed by millions in a matter of moments. But in a world of immediate information and instant gratification, why does it seem as though we are moving farther and farther apart from one another?

In many ways humanity is losing its human component. Are we aware of disconnects in both our personal relationships and with the planet? We live in an atmosphere of elevated interest about ideas of consciousness that are not necessarily mirrored in the world around us. We find it echoed in the words we hear but often absent in the actions we witness.

Common belief holds that civilization is at its developmental apex. However, the picture painted by the Maya reveals something different. Are we at the peak of human evolution or a point on an eternal cycle? These two perspectives are indistinguishable without the living faculty of consciousness. In order for the Sun to rise it must simultaneously set. Beginning and ending occupy the same place in time: "the event horizon".

What can the ancient predictions of the Mayan people tell us about our distant past, the coming future and the power of the present moment that perfectly unites the two?

For millennia humanity has longed to know where we have come from and where we are going in hopes to find a purpose for our existence -- as a whole and as individuals. This mysterious culture left their reflections to these impacting questions in stone to inspire & direct future races. With precise mathematic calculations and a deep spiritual connection, the wisdom of the Maya illustrates for us a message of caution, hope, and love, with alarming clarity.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
