Early Wednesday Morning

Come meet us in front of Starbucks at Green Lake on Wednesday mornings for a casual run around the lake or perhaps jump in for a tempo run.  There are plenty of options as far as pace and number of laps that our group runs. We have 3 established lap times for you to join in on for this meetup.

Lap #1 meets at 5:30am.

Lap #2 meets at 6:00am.

Lap #3 meets at 6:40am.

With each lap we swing around and pick up the next batch of folks as we reach the spot across the street from Starbucks.  Eventually I think we will be able to get a group to take on lap #4, but for now it is great to have the option of 3! We have been getting a nice sized group for all 3 laps and that makes Wednesday mornings really great!

*Our newest addition to Wednesday morning is the post run "Coffee Club that meets and enjoys a nice drink and possible treat following the run!

    It might have been raining a bit this morning, but it didn't get in the way of my enjoyment of getting out and working hard with Wednesday morning running buddies. Have a great rest of the week and hope to see you all on Saturday! :-)

    For folks doing the Summer of Speed plan, the workout today is:

    1.5 mile warm up
    3 miles @ 45sec slower than 10K pace
    1.5 mile cool down

    I won't be there tomorrow but it looks like Loka and (maybe!) Nicola will be running this workout.

      We do get a handful of folks showing up at 6am for two laps almost every week. It usually requires someone saying that they will be running two laps starting at 6am and just like magic they have company. :-)

    I'll be there for the 5:30am start time this week for two laps. I'll be doing a tempo run for 3 miles at a 7:33 pace with a warm up and cool down that will give me a total two laps for the morning. It should be great!
