How did your 2015 go as far as running? Any highlights that you'd like to share?

2015 was bit of a challenge. The previous year I had my best year of running and found that my legs were more fatigued as a result of that. I ran the Portland Marathon and it was easily the best marathon I have run yet.

What is your plan for 2016? Any races on the calendar for you?

My goal for 2016 is to get stronger and faster while maintaining a healthy balance that incorporates in consistent sleep, stretching and cross training.

We have runs everyday of the week and have found success in running with others. When do you typically run?

There aren't a whole lot of conflicts that come up for me at 5:30am, so I try and run early. The rest of the day always seems to gets in the way.

Do you have a big goal for 2016? How can we help you get there?

At this point my goal is to reach 2nd Seed status at Bloomsday this year and to get a 3:05 at the NYC Marathon. Aside from that, I want to run fast and enjoy getting that time in with running buddies.

How long have you been running and what motivates you?

I've been running for around 7 & a half years and as simple as running is supposed to be there always seems to be adjustments to make and additional things to incorporate in. Training for races and targeting new goals seems to help me stay motivated.

I love the freedom I get from running and the comradery that comes from running with others. I had no idea where running would take me and am beginning to realize that the best is yet to come!
