Hi! After a wake up call several years ago I started running for health. Slowly it became part of my life and now I try to inspire others to take those first steps to getting more active.
Doing 2 half's, a full, and placing in 5K during the first 6 months of the year was pretty amazing! My only plan for 2013 is to get my ankle working again and safely build up my mileage. Fingers crossed that a Fall Marathon will be possible.
26.2! I don't think I will be dabbling in ultras this year. ;)
I'm an early riser!
Keep me company on my runs! I've missed all my running buddies while my ankle was broken.
New York is still on the list. Better get my lottery ticket in again for this year. :)
Hey Sarah, Unfortunately I don't think Eugene is going to work for me this year...I am bummed! I looked at the training schedule and I'm going to be out of town for the three longest runs- which in my mind defeats the whole purpose of training with the group. So frustrating! I'm trying to figure out my next full marathon plan...since you're going to be a rockstar and run 3 or whatever you said, there's still a chance I could train with you at some point :)
Hi Sarah~ I don't know if you're around this weekend, but I'm trying to get a group of people together to run the Firecracker 5000 5k. It's a midnight run on Sunday July 3rd...starts at 11:55 p m. Lots of fun. Here's the link if you're interested (I've also set up a meet-up for it): http://www.promotionevents.com/Firecr...
Hey Sarah, It was fun running with you today. I'm glad we were able to catch up to you. I hope the pace wasn't too fast. We usually run around a 9 min mile, but when we got back to the parking lot, I noticed we were a bit faster than that. Good luck with your 1/2 this summer.
Hey Sarah! I saw that you're looking for a marathon in the fall. Depending on how Newport goes I'm looking for a fall marathon too. I was thinking Portland, but it would be fun to plan to do one as a group!
