How long have you been running and are there items still on your bucket list that you are motivated to accomplish?

I like the way I feel and I really miss it (REALLY MISS IT) when I'm our injured. I enjoy the fatigue and most of all how I feel after. Running well keeps me motivated. Its tough when running is a struggle which makes time off from injuries that much tougher to handle.

How did your 2016 go as far as running? Any highlights that you'd like to share?

Started great. I PR'd again at the LSH and ran under 1:29 (but on a short course). I ran with the Hansons groups (I and II) before the wheels fell off and tendonitis made the rest of the year tough. I Cptn'd G-Krewe to 3rd Place in Ragnar NWP. Favorite races - The LSH, Whistler Half Marathon and the Inaugural Vancouver RnR Half Marathon.

What is your plan for 2017? Any races on the calendar for you? Do you have any big goals?

Break 1:30 in the half, shooting for the LSH in March. I would like to log 1200 miles this year and stay relatively healthy AND get Fast again.

How many days a week do you typically run? What time of the day do you run?

MORNING! I like the early Track and have long LOVED Wednesday Tempos and the Starbucks afterwards

How can we best support you and your running goals?

I'm still all about the half marathon and want to Break 1:30 at a real 13.1. With some injury issues I am considering getting better and faster at some shorter distances. I'm running the LSH, Bloomsday, Whistler Half, Ragnar, LU10K, .and something in the Fall (NOT the Portland Marathon)


Have 'Run Happy' with this group since 2011 and have set a PR at every distance since.
