How long have you been running and are there items still on your bucket list that you are motivated to accomplish?

Yep, a trail marathon, a duathlon (run-bike-run) or sprint triathlon. I like the idea of the trail duathlons. I'd need to do a lot of training and think the training itself sounds like a ride I'd like to take! :)

How did your 2016 go as far as running? Any highlights that you'd like to share?

Run a 5K (Greenlake Gobble) and 12Ks of Christmas and then train for the Sammamish half. If that all goes well, I'd like to train for a marathon after that.

What is your plan for 2017? Any races on the calendar for you? Do you have any big goals?

5 miles and counting. ;) Lots of room for more training and very open to tips and tricks from anyone who has them!

How many days a week do you typically run? What time of the day do you run?

evening, but morning works too (I'm just more stiff and awkward then).

How can we best support you and your running goals?

I like the holiday run ideas and the trainings for halfs and full marathons.


I'm getting back into shape after too many years of grad school! ;)
