Here are the scripting improvements I did that went into Groovy 2.3.0 we discussed tonight:

GROOVY-1642 - Scripts should be able to get an absolute path to their source
GROOVY-6451 - Repository roots in @GrabResolver work for relative paths
GROOVY-6561 - GroovyMain now handles URL source paths correctly
    GROOVY-6582 - Script.invokeMethod should use getProperty
GROOVY-6615 - @BaseScript class may implement Object run()
GROOVY-6585 - Ditto for base scripts specified by --basescript or CompilerConfig

    And the one that didn't:

GROOVY-6675 - @BaseScript class for JCommander annotated CLI scripts

My blog has a rather long post about the relative paths for @GrabResolver and I plan to post on each of the issues as time permits.

Is there any presentation planned or desired? I could talk about some new scripting features landing in Groovy 2.3.0. I just gave a talk at HTCondor Week about Gondor, the grid workflow tool I'm building using Groovy, and would have some examples from that.

I'm not going to be able to make it on Thursday unfortunately. My son's little league game is that night. I'll ask if other folks are going to attend, either Kendrick or Matt might make it.
