Yogi and the Yoginis (yes, the band of your humble meetup group organizer!) will be performing at the elegant Monsoon East restaurant in Old Downtown Bellevue on Friday feb 12th at 9pm.
There is no cover charge, and Monsoon has specials on drinks for late happy Hour, 9-11pm.

About Yogi and the Yoginis:

The Yoginis deliver exciting, fresh sounds fusing American Jazz, Brazilian Samba, Afro-Cuban and Caribbean rhythms and Indian/Jazz fusions. The Yoginis explore new territory while respecting their roots. The Yoginis are created by pianist Yogi McCaw drawing on his musical friends from around the world.
Yogi and the Yoginis original samba/latin/world-fusion jazz has won finalist in the WOMEX 2009 songwriting contest, called ?Truly one of a kind? (Steve Getz, Stan Getz's son) and ?Truly Innovative? (the Jazz Network Worldwide), and has songs heard in the award winning ?Dalai Lama Renaissance? documentary.
