The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (authors - Shaffer & Barrows)

We'll be gathering in the meeting room. There is free garage parking on a first come, first serve basis, but garage doors close at 8, so keep that in mind! Food and non-alcoholic drinks are allowed in the meeting room as long as we clean up after ourselves. Note: This event in not sponsored by the Seattle Public Library.

HAHAHAHA KATE WINSLET I SO KNEW IT! Sigh, I'll still see it with y'all. P.S. If you are interested my friend Catherine started a group called Bookish People Who Hike and we go hiking usually on Sundays, message me and I can add you to the list. This Sunday I don't know where the hike will be but it should be beautiful.

I think it will definitely have to be a book club field trip when it comes out! :-) Cathie and I thought Emily blunt would make a good Juliet!!

Here's a link to some movie info:

When Nancy and I were on the bus, I looked online to see if plans had been made yet to turn this into a movie. Turns out that Kate Winslet is going to be Juliet ("Julie" in the movie), and Kenneth Branagh is the director! We thought that was pretty funny after the book group discussion. (Nobody has been cast yet for Dawsey.)
