Tell us a little bit about your first project. What did you make and how long did it take?

as a kid it would have been a crochet'd hot pad in a summer camp craft class. i bet it took 2 craft sessions, cuz i made a thousand wood burned plaques with all the other time.

How did you become interested in your craft?

it was time i faced my supressed desires of pretty merlinos & bamboos so i told my husband i wanted to knit. he made me promise i'd never make anything for his feet and the deal was sealed. he made my birthday theme knitting. the stash was born.

Is there a special place you like to knit, crochet or create and do you have a suggestion on a good place for the group to get together?

Wayward Coffeehouse is my home base. And I very much like Third Place Books Commons at Montlake Terrace.

Looking forward to the chatting and pointers from fellow knitters....or just the chatting all things scifi.

What kikki is saying about this Meetup Group

very active and friendly. felt like i could ask anybody there anything....about knitting/fibers. a meetup to fit just about any schedule.
