Tell us a little bit about your first project. What did you make and how long did it take?

I made potholders. It took me for-ev-er. Now I can make one in a few hours. So far I've only made square and rectangular objects.

How did you become interested in your craft?

I've crocheted my whole life and figured knitting couldn't be much worse. Now I'm addicted.

Is there a special place you like to knit, crochet or create and do you have a suggestion on a good place for the group to get together?

I love sitting at the Starbucks on market street in Ballard. In the comfy chair, next to the window.

I'm a beginner knitter, but long time crocheter. I love making gifts for all my nieces and nephews.
