My first project was a scarf, made out of ridiculous novelty yarn that made knitting much harder than it really was. I forget how long it took me, but once I realized that the yarn was what was giving me fits, that helped my other projects go much faster.
My mom. She taught me how to knit when I was younger, but I didn't really get into it until just after I graduated from college. Now I think I knit more than she does!
Normally I just knit and spin at home, church (no, my pastor doesn't mind) or where ever I'm waiting in line...
I moved up to Woodinville from Queen Anne almost a year ago. I'm active with the Seattle Knitters Guild, but it would be fabulous to get together with some knitters a little closer to home. :) I'm a newlywed with three silly cats and no kids (yet).
