Plant Propagation 101 - First Session

We at Crowhill are excited to be offering our fourth year of plant propagation 101!  The course covers some basic plant biology, reviews sexual & asexual reproduction, and then we jump into starting seeds, both indoor and outdoor applications, starting plants from cuttings, layering, and division.

Materials will be purchased in advance of the class for your educational enjoyment, and you will go home with babies for your garden.

Register through Brown Paper Tickets for this popular class -  Simply saying you're going through SPG Meetup does not secure your spot in the class. Questions about class?  Contact Amy @ [masked] or 206.369.4429.

Space is limited. Appropriate for ages 12 and up. We are sorry, but we cannot accommodate the differently able at this time, as Crowhill is built on the side of a hill and there are many stairs. Please know your limits.

Come ready for the weather, and we hope to see you here!

Plant Propagation 101 was a very worthwhile class and worth far more then the $20 charged to attend. We each received a useful book, descriptive notes, and an entire tray of plant starts. And then there's Amy. She's wonderful! Very knowledgeable, willing to share and all round delightful. When we were leaving, Amy asked if I felt empowered to do propagation my own. And the answer is yes, yes I do.

Awesome class! Well worth it to attend. Not only is the information incredibly valuable, but we also walked away with a bunch of cuttings from Amy's own garden which she generously shared with us.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
