  • This location is shown only to members

This is a free class, though the room is limited. It will be held at crowhill, a private home in west seattle and the subjects covered will include starting plants from seed, starting plants from cuttings, starting plants from division, and how and when to up-pot to bigger containers. There will be opportunity for hands on practice of these techniques, and participants will leave with free plants for their garden. Donations towards planting mix and containers happily accepted, though in no way required. Please call[masked], or write to fireweeddesign@gmail to register. (please note there are TWO Ds in that name)
Note: your RSVP does not guarantee a spot. If numbers exceed venue capacity, a second class may be scheduled.

Super!, Lots of hands on transplanting tomatoes, rhubarb, basket willow, bulbed flowers, etc...
Pleasant day, just cool enough for working outside in a beautiful new garden. Received generous resource list for seed sources and plant species propagation calendar references.

Amy was very knowledgeable about plant propogation and gracious about sharing her knowledge, supplies and her space. I learned new things and am very glad I decided to attend.

Amy was well prepared for a hands-on workshop. Lots of good questions and answers too.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
