Yelm Worm Farm Visit

Founded in 1991, the Farm and staff have provided countless individuals and Companies worldwide with valuable information and a comprehensive product line to assist them in Vermiculture, Vermicomposting, horticulture and organic farming. Yelm Earthworm and Castings Farm is located at 14741 Lawrence Lake Rd SE in Yelm, Wa (360) 894-0707.

The star workers are earthworms. One of the largest worm farms in North America with pure water nourishing their 15 tons of Redworms (Esiena Fetida).

Come see their test gardens, 30,000 square feet of indoor production facilities, their equipment and practices. Learn about Castings Tea. Get a feel for the history of the farm whose efforts and commitment earned them the 2007 Wa Governors Award for Pollution Prevention and Sustainable Practices. Certified Salmon Safe, the farm sells on-site in their Soil Depot and on-line in their Yelm Worm Store.
