Join in the fun at Seattle's edible urban forest garden that inspires community to gather together to grow our own food, rehabilitate our local ecosystem, improve public health & local food security, reduce agricultural climate impact, provide educational opportunities, and celebrate growing food for the benefit of all species.
This Saturday's Work Party will include working on pathways, hugelkultur beds, planting what remains in Beacon Food Forest Nursery, weeding (bring leather gloves and rain boots), soil building in future P-Patch beds (bring coffee grounds and leaves),...and more.
There's always great food, donated and made by the community, for the lunch break, too!
