RE: [permaculture-119] SCALLOPS network

From: Nancy C.

Greetings Jocelyn- yes the Training for Transition seems a great idea and I noted the expenses and infrastructure which seem doable for the class size.  I will mention it to the group Wed, and I go to Fidalgo/Chuckanut gathering 31st and can share SCALLOPS and the T4T opportunities/networks.  Please clarify for me the 2 host sites ning/spiders?   How many/which Trans-groups are in SCALLOPS network now please?

I hope your member in Stanwood might look us up, see Meetup Sustainable Port Susan for info. about tomorrow.  Note most members are not on Meetup so attendance there is innacurate, we hope she might join us!  Thanks, Nancy

Thanks Kelda for providing the SCALLOPS link. I'd heard in an e-mail about a new website for SCALLOPS, so I actually have four places to find them:

http://scallops.ning.com/
http://scallops.hosting.spiders.net/ (the work-in-progress site that I heard would replace the ning site--??)
https://www.facebook.com/goSCALLOPS
http://twitter.com/goSCALLOPS

Maybe these are posted elsewhere, but I could only find them in e-mails so I posted them at Transition Woodinville:

Nancy Chase - the Transition training our group would like is the
Training for Transition (T4T) course so that we can add to our Transition-building skill sets. We could only do this in consort with other Transitions/SCALLOPS groups. Follow the link and let me know if you're interested. Thank you for the link to the Port Susan Meetup! I'm unable to make you next meeting, but one of our members lives in Stanwood, so I'll check with her.

Nancy Sutton - hello! Nice to hear from you in another realm! :-)
