Worm Farming for Fun and Family Science

Hi, Friends of Worms:

I just published a very general article about vermicomposting for families on ParentMap. It is meant to encourage families to start a wormbin, not to be a primary resource. I'm pretty happy with it, but I do think that the vermicomposting resources for families could be improved.

So, to that end, do you have any recommendations for webpages, books, podcasts etc. that would be helpful/inspirational for families starting up their first worm bin?

Thank you!

I just built worm bin. Does anyone have some worms they can gift me to get things start in the new bin? I live in the north end.

I'm also looking for some "local" worms for a new bin that I just got. I'm in Sammamish if someone has some I could purchase or is on the eastside and wants to go in on an order together!
