Seafair Indian Days Pow Wow Photography

Photograph[masked] Native Americans of all ages in full regalia as they dance in celebration of their heritage.

After meeting at the Discovery Park Visitor Center, we will drive to the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center and park where directed. We will have plenty of time to get situated for the grand entrance at 1pm. Parking is usually free, however there is a modest fee to get in ($5).

Please be mindful of Pow Wow etiquette - If you wish to photograph a dancer in regalia, ask first. If the picture is for publication or commercial use, that should be explained before the picture is taken. Remember common courtesy and ask permission. Group photographs are usually alright to take, but you might want to ask first. People are sensitive about pictures, so it is always good to be on the safe side and ask. Stay as long as you like (and even return on the 21st).

Sorry about the confusion everyone. I had it in my head to meet at 11am. When nobody showed, I went on down with Estelle and had her post to meet at the entrance (after realizing it was supposed to be 11:30am). I did see some of the members there.
