Shoot All the Zombies!

I finally got an answer from the Director of Photography for the Zombie Runs. We are more than welcome to come and shoot behind the scenes (and pretty much anywhere we want to) of the Zombie Run on the 17th. I know this is short notice but it took forever to get an answer! I would like to check in along with the Zombies at 9AM so we can let the organizers know that we have permission to shoot as a group. The run starts at 11AM but if you are going to be late, let them know that you are with the Group and have permission from Akhil Srivastava. I will also let them know that we might have some latecomers.

I will get an email after the event with a link to send photos to! I doubt that there would be any compensation if they use your photo to promote the event (which is worldwide!) but I'm sure you would get photo credit. Please keep this in mind if you submit your work!

A portion of the proceeds of every zombie run goes to benefit Active Heroes (http://activeheroes.org) This amazing 501(c)(3) serves both veterans and active duty military personnel by providing financial support and community integration.

LET'S GO SHOOT ALL THE ZOMBIES!

If you have any questions or concerns you can email me at [masked]. I check this email a couple of times a day. Or you can go to www.thezombierun.com/locations/seattle for general information.

Sorry I didn't see you! I saw a few photographers. No one stopped me or asked about what I was doing, so I think we're good. I will post some pics in a while. Thanks for setting this up!

I found out that we really didn't need permission like I was told! Next year I'll get a Meet-up scheduled earlier and maybe Alan can post it in the regular meet-ups instead of hidden back in the 'Suggested' meet-ups. :)

I know it's a bit complicated but I'm sure Akhil would love to see them! You can post your photos here or post a link to your photo sharing or FaceBook page. My Flickr is ...

It will take me a bit to get things sorted out and caught up after being without internet for a few days but I'll get some posted here and there. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
