Monthly Wine Social and Critique: Glass

Each month, 15-20 photographers of all levels get together to discuss each other's images with emphasis on composition.  The beginners learn from the pros, the pros learn from each other and we all have a good time with wine/beer to boot.  Join us for at Vino on the Landing in Renton for a Monday evening for our monthly Wine & Critique Social.

Create strong, interesting compositions based on the elements and principles of design.

RULE:  All images should be taken during the month prior to the event

Bring your 5 images on a flash drive, SD card or CD.

There is usually a waiting list on these meetups.  Please do not RSVP and not show up.  Honestly, cancelling an hour before the event is the same as being a no-show!  Preference will be given to those who have donated to the club during the current year and/or have not no-showed past Vino events.

It takes a lot of time, effort and money to keep this club going.  We ask for an annual $20 donation.  If you have not donated in 2013, please consider contributing $20 or any other amount by CLICKING ON THIS LINK or going to the meetup page and use the link on the left side of the page.

Great to meet everyone! I appreciate the kind words of support and the suggestions for improvement and enhancement. I look forward to the next session and getting to know each of you further. I only wish the acoustics were better as I had difficulty hearing all the comments. Also, the room arrangement including the long narrow table, minimizes dialogue that I believe would be useful. Is there an alternative room/table or way that we could rearrange the space to gain a more intimate setting?

Fun topic; I learned a lot about managing reflections when I was taking these.

I personally did not have much to show, but there was a lot of creative work presented. I am looking forward to next month.....

Sorry to have missed this session. It's always good, always informative, to see and share the work of others. I get a lot out of the discussions. I enjoy this activity.
