Cross Country work out

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the update, but this week's XC workout will be at the Garfield High School track, NOT Genesee Park as reported earlier. A parking lot on 25th Ave often has open spots at this time of day, otherwise there is usually ample street parking next to the track. http://goo.gl/maps/8W2y4

The workout will be a batch of 300m repeats, with 60 second jog rest. Practice starts at 6:30 PM. We invite you to come ahead of time to warm up and stretch out.

This is the final workout before the last XC race of the season, so if you've been thinking of checking it out, now's the time! All ages and speeds are welcome, even if you have no interest in XC racing. We will be holding group workouts again, but will be taking a short break from them after the Club XC National Championships race. So come out Wednesday!

    This was my second XC workout with this group. Really nice people who offered a lot of positive verbal support during the workout. The organizer jogged with me to check in with me about the first workout and this one. I am looking forward to more Wednesday night track workouts. Wish we could do some here in West Seattle!
